However, if you decide to install your new UV light through us, we’ll waive that surcharge completely. That’s a value of $85 back into your pocket.

What factors affect the cost of a UV light installation?

Your UV light model: The two main types of UV lights are air-sterilizing and coil-sterilizing. Although certain models rely on both sterilization methods while running. If you aren’t sure which system is right for your home, don’t worry. Our air quality experts will introduce the pricing for each model and the range of protection they offer.
Professional install or DIY: If you’re the DIY type, you have the option of installing a UV light on your own. That said, we’d highly recommend watching some videos before you start. It takes our trained professionals up to four hours to install UV lights in residential homes. And they work pretty efficiently after having installed hundreds of them. At the end of the day, it’s up to you which installation option is the right one. At the very least, we can send someone over to help you find the UV light that’s right for you.

Freezing Mechanical gives our customers two convenient ways to schedule: online or over the phone. You’ll receive a courtesy call from our team confirming your appointment. You’ll also receive a text on the day of your appointment with the name and a photo of the technician who will be arriving at your home.

We help find the right UV light for your home

UV lights come in a variety of options, including air-sterilizing and coil-sterilizing. Some systems will even offer both kinds in one system. An indoor air quality specialist from Freezing Mechanical can help you sort out which is right for your home and budget. We’ll also look for any available system rebates while we’re at your home.

We give you a 5-star installation experience

Once you’ve selected the model that’s right for you, we’ll get right to work on the installation. Most UV lights take around 3 to 4 hours to install. We’ll also test the system to make sure it’s fully operational, and clean up each worksite to ensure your home is cleaner than how we found it.
